Our Teachers Teachers at Teddy Bear Learning Center are state licensed and receive ongoing professional development. Staff are certified and trained in infant and early-childhood CPR and First Aid. Directors meet with teachers to discuss student's developmental assessments, curriculum feedback, classroom observations, and ongoing professional workshops. The two owner-directors, Ruthann Laird and Karen Phillipps, have extensive experience as educators and are continuously active in the school. They are actively involved in the development of the students and are available to meet and discuss any questions. |

Our Students Teddy Bear Learning Center maintains a low teacher/student ratio, providing children with individual teacher interaction and independent learning activities, in self-contained, age-appropriate, beautiful environments. For new students, we provide a consistent educational approach across all age levels, including infants and toddlers. For returning students, we provide a level of continuity in all programs to give children a level of comfort from year to year. Our staff has an average of eight years of teaching at our school that allows for consistency of care. |
